Sailing festival in Brittany
The "Semaine du Golfe" in Brittany, the 9th edition from Monday 22nd to Sunday 28th May 2017
An international maritime event, a cultural and popular nautical festival, in the magical Golf of Morbihan taking place only 45 minutes away from our gite in central Brittany.
Over one thousand traditional and classic boats, divided up into coherent and identifiable flotillas, sailing every day and stopping in various ports and anchorages. The result: a "bursting" maritime festival, bringing alive the whole of the Golfe of Morbihan. It is the particular geography and the physical characteristics of this "small sea" (its islands and islets, the straits which separates and protect it from the open sea, the tides, the currents and counter-currents, the choppy waters), which determinates and rhythm the whole nautical programme.
